Trustee Maggie Moore is once more putting on her running shoes to support Rowdeford Special Needs School near Devizes. She is in training for the Great North Run 2016 on the 11th September after taking a year out because of injury.
Maggie has been fundraising for the School for many years and has done the sponsored run before. This year however she is hopeful of raising and contributing to the Rowdeford Outdoor Learning Centre Project which is close to raising its full target.
Maggie said,” The school is one of the happiest places I have ever had the privilege to be associated with. I do hope that I will be able to raise a lot of sponsorship for our Centre Project.
Already the Rowdeford Outdoor Learning Centre project has raised or had pledged some £155,000 towards its target of £216,000. Planning Permissions and designs are in place so all that is required is that last amount. Then we can start building!”
